cmake-curses-gui software package provides curses based user interface for CMake (ccmake), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cmake-curses-gui
cmake-curses-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cmake-curses-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cmake-curses-gui *
You will get with cmake-curses-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
